We dream of being a place where God is first in everything we think, do, and say. A place where He is passionately worshipped and His Word faithfully taught. A place where His will and purposes are sought and obeyed.
We dream of being a people that serves their community and neighborhoods in the Crossroads Corridor and reaches them with the Good News of Jesus Christ. A group of seed throwers and fire starters that extend the Kingdom of God wherever they go. A people who care for and love the poor, the hurting, and the broken. A people who believe that small things done with great love make an unbelievable impact.
We dream of a being community where authentic relationships are cultivated and nurtured. A place where people are able to be honest with each other and with themselves, and know they are loved, prayed for, and welcome.
We dream of being a place where people can come as they are and know they will be loved. Where they can safely bring their hurts, fears, pains, and problems, and receive the comfort, direction, healing, and peace of Jesus Christ in an accepting environment. A place where grace is freely given regardless of race, color, or background, and everyone can experience God’s power and presence. A place where people can ask their tough questions without fear, and safely explore the truths of the Gospel.
We dream of being a people devoted to growing in their faith. A people who live Spirit-filled, Christ-like lives and grow through worship, prayer, study, fellowship, service, and outreach. A people who use their spiritual gifting to serve God’s church and the world. A people who love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love their neighbor as themselves.
We dream of being a place that never settles for the status quo, where God’s truth is made understandable, and creativity is sought. A place that encourages the arts. A place that strives to be an effective instrument in God’s hand.
We dream of cultivating, training, and sending thousands of servant leaders to work in the ministries of the Church and to plant new churches locally and around the world. A people who go on countless short term missions trips to start churches and ministries and to bring help and comfort to those who are hurting.
