Thanks for taking the time to check us out. I hope you will take some time to look around, and get acquainted with us. As you look for a church, I know there are tons of questions you will have. Hopefully, you will find all the answers you need in these pages.

What are we about? Great question!

At Crossroads Vineyard Church we want to help each person take their next step closer to God. We do this by seeking truth, worshipping God, living in community, growing in our faith, and seeking to live God’s mission in our world.

No matter where you are in your walk with Christ, there is always a next step. Maybe you need to begin following Him and make Him the leader of your life or you need to begin serving in order to grow closer…whatever your next step is, we want to challenge and help you to take it! Being a follower of Jesus Christ is more than just a Sunday thing…we learn to live out God’s will every day of our lives by loving people and seeking after God.

We do all of this by doing the following:

Seeking Truth. In a world of Nigerian Princes, ponzi schemes, and anonymous commenters, we are all searching for something true. We believe that truth starts with Jesus. As we align our lives with Him and follow His Word, the Bible, we find that compassion, forgiveness, and love really are Good News!

Worshipping God. Learning to worship means giving up control. We recognize that God is worthy of our worship, and we seek to do that by being being relevant, upbeat, but also drawing from over 2,000 years of Christian worship traditions.

Living in Community. Religion can be dry and boring, but relationships never are. Our goal is to develop genuine, caring relationships with others. We can’t and we shouldn’t do life on our own.

Growing in our faith. Just like a tree that grows deeper roots so it can grow taller limbs, we are called to grow in two different ways…to grow up and to grow out. Growing up we call discipleship. As followers of Jesus we must be growing and maturing in our faith, growing closer to Him, and learning to love as He loves. Growing out means we are reaching out to those around us with the Good News that God loves us and wants the best for us. This isn’t beating people up to make them believe like we do; we certainly won’t do that. We believe that God works in each of our lives leading us along and working with all our baggage.

Living God’s mission. We are a sent people. We are sent into this world to make a difference and proclaim that God’s Kingdom, one of love, forgiveness, and healing, has come. This means we care for the poor and the broken and invest our time and energy caring people from whom others would reject and turn away. We also seek bring justice to our world by standing up for those who can’t stand up for themselves. We want to make a difference in our world by making it a better place; by bringing the Kingdom of God.
